It is at
boarding that a youngster gets his first taste of community
life; an experience of home away from home. At boarding, a
student for the first time comes face to face with friends
from different walks of life, having varied attitudes and
following different faiths. The interaction with them
enables the students to have the first lessons of tolerance,
charity and understanding. For the development of an
integrated personality, academics ideally should move in
tandem with this life interaction. Moral values and
religious principles are given greater importance.
Boys are
accommodated in Kuriakose Elias Boarding House, which is
managed by CMI Fathers and girls are admitted in
Suvidhya Bhavan, managed by Salvatorian sisters. |
