In Kuriakose Elias School Complex, immense thrust is given to co-curricular activities, sports and games which bring out the hidden talents of the students. All the students are divided into four houses – Amity, Dignity, Integrity and Unity- and healthy competition is established among them.

 
 

Class leaders from Std V to XII and School Leaders form the Student Council. It oversees the co-curricular activities and discipline. There are about 52 members. Teachers on duty are responsible for its smooth running.The election and activities of students' Council are under true partiamentary system.

 
 

Special classes are conducted for the benefit of weak students in all subjects. This enables the children to keep pace with other students.

 
 

In order to inculcate correct moral values in children and mould them into socially committed citizens, one period is set-aside for Value Education. Class teacher takes special care to enlighten the students about etiquette and patterns of correct behaviour. Any misconduct on the part of the child is instantly checked and steps are taken to ensure that it does not develop into a deeper malaise.

 
 

Annual retreat is arranged in the school in two sessions; one for catholic students and the other for non-catholic students.

 
 

The Parent Teacher Association of the school offers an unending support for the well being of the school complex. Annual General Body meetings are conducted. The executive committee is formed during the General Body Meeting.

 
 

Children are free to choose any club according to their tastes and interests. Club activities are conducted on monthly basis. Clubs such as Quiz club, Mathematics club, Literature club, The Social Service club, Science club, Home Science club, Hindi Samaj, Health club, Eco-club, Quiz and Debate club etc are functioning actively. The school conducts every year a Arts & Science Exhibition under the title, 'Focus'.

 
 

Every section of Classes from V to X is expected to bring out a Manuscript Magazine. These magazines encourage the students to give vent to their creative talents in the literary and artistic fields. A panel of teachers scrutinize the magazines and prize is awarded to the best magazine from UP Section and HS Section. 

 
 

The School Magazine of Kuriakose Elias School Complex, tries to maintain a record of the happenings of each academic year. It includes reports, felicitations, reflections, poetry and expressions of every conceivable aesthetic talent of our students. There are also pictures, paintings and photographs of all activities that took place during the previous academic year. Teachers and students make an excellent editorial board. News Bullettins are published in each term of the academic year.

 
 

Study tours to places of interest provide experiences, which are not only enjoyable but also instructive to the students.

 
 

We arrange in our school an yearly get-together of the former students of this institution. It is an occasion to cherish old memories and to get to know, new members of this association. During the annual gathering, office bearers are elected for the smooth running of the association.
